Since the ZIM for the entire english Wikipedia is so large (~109GB), you would do well to download it as a torrent:

Note: That's a totally legal download, BTW, as Wikipedia is free for all.
The normal downloading which is done from kiwix desktop often fails, because 109GB is such a cumbersome, long download otherwise.
