Thanks for the detailed feedback. I've updated the repo and removed those problematic bits.
I left the setup for zsh and neovim etc for now. I like the fact that there is a place where they can be found together, however eventually they may end up in a blogpost instead. So far, I've noticed it improves as I gradually remove anything extraneous (dotfiles etc etc)![;)]( "Wink")
