Beginners • Copy SDCard for Pi to a USB HD?

I have a working HomeAssistant runing on an SDCard in a Pi5.
I'd like to have it running (and boot from) a small external HD.
Is there a way to just copy the SDCard image to the HD so it can boot from the HD?
