I liked that red though perhaps because all my bare Pico boards and clones have different colour card wrappings around them so I can quickly tell which is which. The folded card is held in place by multiple windings of an elastic band. I have got quite adept at getting the folds in the right places, cutting small holes to expose buttons and LED, with notches to accommodate USB.The most serious issue I see, is the color/colour. It looks like a red poisonous frog.
When Wilco's / Wilkinson's were selling off stock cheap I bought dozens of 'Mini LED Ring Lights for Cameras' because the two inch USB-A to mini-USB cable carries data as well as charge and are perfect for bare Pico, and for embedding in things. Plus free sockets, buttons, LED's and LiPo's.
