The mediapipe neural network works in a Raspberry Pi 3B, 1GB. It can run the example detecting faces, hand gestures and body poses, from a webcam stream. The performance is ~4 FPS (not all 3 a the same time).
It is CPU only, but there are some partial, unproven instructions on how to recompile it to get hardware acceleration, in the mediapipe wiki.
