I love the Raspberry Pi Christmas Tree - I have the original, build it yourself, Red LED only version, and I recently bought my wife the RGB LED version (and a Raspberry Pi Zero W to go with it).
She's happy to code in Python, but not too comfortable with the command line - so I had an idea to make it easier for her (I'm a software developer with thirty years of career experience, so if I can't fix it then who can?).
I have therefore written a project which other tree owners or dabblers in Python might find useful - it sets up the Pi for the user and then makes running the code almost as simple as drag and drop. It's free to use, free to modify and freely available on GitHub, and full documentation is provided for it there. I hope that others might find it useful.
