That approach should work in principle, yes.
Combining a pull-up resistor with an RC filter is actually pretty common for de bouncing and noise suppression. Just keep in mind that too large a capacitor might slow down the signal transitions more than you’d like, specially for fast inputs. Your 10k and 100 NF combo ≈1 ms sounds reasonable for mechanical switches that you can always tweak values if you see missed triggers.
