I tried another OS in the meanwhile...
The new Os is running fine in real time, it recognized immediately my Korg Midi Sequencer via USb and
is playing a Virtual Synthesizer with its Midi...
The system has already pre-installed hardware tty-midi ports, but I have yet to understand how to work with the system settings...

I learned a thing or two whilst building the system...

I haven't given up on the Pi Os just yet, in fact I wanted to dual boot the two Os, Nvme and Usb, but pressing space didn't work.
But anyway, back to the original thread...

I2C protocol as described by the NXP standard is pretty clear, theres 10 bits of available unique addresses that are being used from various manufacturers in their IC design, so it's possible to send every kind of data on the bus, but there must be a handshake on the other side...

I need to be more precise, when I say that I could use I2c for getting Midi or a CV or a display, this passage requires at least a Pi Pico to do the translation job. That is, board or IC with the arbitration set right... it's complicated...

pf . That's All folks for today.
