I have a Raspberry Pi 4 with a HyperPixel touch screen monitoring my solar panels and house batteries (not using HA). At the moment, the screen only comes alive when touched after which it times out after five minutes. I know how to keep the display on permanently, but what I would really like is for the display to stay on during the day but revert to the five-minute timeout after dark. Does anyone know a way of doing this using crontab?
