Yes me again, sorry

I have found the files I need to delete, they are in several directories 2025-05-06 etc, when I try to delete them with rm -rf 2025-05-06 from inside the parent directory, I get an error cannot remove read-only file system

any idea how I can remove these

if it might help someone else using motioneye, the path was var/lib/motioneye/camera1

I suspect you're missing a leading / in that path.

On a normal RPiOS /var is a directory on /. That may not be the case on your however especially as if the root partition is mounted read only you'd be seeing a lot more errors.

Post the contents of your /etc/fstab and the output from mount. That may shed some light on things.
