Not exactly the solution you are looking for, but using MQTT enabled switches could be a solution.
- Switch your load with a power plug https://www.shelly.com/de/products/shelly-plug-s-gen3 or something like https://www.shelly.com/products/shelly-1-gen3 (*)
- Install 'mosquitto' mqtt broker on one of your Pi
- use python lib 'paho' to connect your python code to MQTT

Needs wifi coverage for the switch, of course.

(*) needs wiring of mains connections, be sure you follow all applicable security rules
Thanks!! But I already have that setup basically. It's using a 200W heat lamp though and I'm trying to get that out as it costs a lot plus it's a fire risk. So I figured a simple 60W incandescent bulb would be better. It's already wired to a light switch so I figured the Leviton would work.
