Makes sense. I did wonder if that was the case, so I moved the Pi to about 10 feet from the WiFi router and the connection speed leapt up to pretty much what it should have been. So, as a solution, I guess I either move to a bottom mount for the NVMe, or I keep the Pi close to the router. Not sure which way I'll go on this just yet.
