I seem to be stuck with a booted up pi and no way to control it.
I'm travelling with a pi 4 running bullseye 64 bit and 2 android smartphones, a BT mouse and BT keyboard. I discovered that the TV in our rental van had Android auto so I paired my Pi's BT mouse and keyboard to play with it. Once I was done playing I cannot reconnect the BT mouse and keyboard back to the Pi.
Apparently when you connect to a new device with my mouse and KB they don't remember the previous device. I've come up with some workarounds but they always fail with a chicken and egg situation.
Is there a way for me to connect a BT mouse and keyboard to a pi 4 when you have no USB mouse or keyboard?
I have a wireless mouse/keyboard android app, Valence, that uses a VNC server, which I have running on the pi, but I can't get my android phone and the pi on the same network to talk vnc without a mouse.
WiFi is off on the pi and I need a mouse to turn it on.
I usually have ssh access from my phone, but again, can't get them on the same network.
Aaaaggghhh!
Really don't want to buy a USB mouse which would solve this problem. Before I start asking strangers if I can borrow their USB mouse, is there a way around this that I'm missing?
Help! And thanks.![Smile :-)]()
