FWIW, Checking my "original"/early (2012) notes/photo's (eg. as can be seen here: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_p ... uePis.html )My mum bought me the original Raspberry Pi Model B back when it was released in 2012. She also got me the original edition of the Raspberry Pi User Guide. I was 15 at the time and the book, full of text and printed in black and white, seemed a world away from the video games I would have wanted to try and create. So it went back in the box after I tried a couple of the basic Python demos in the book and has not been used since.
...
if you compare those with your Pi you may be able to tell if you have a B1 (256Mb) or B2 (512Mb) model (one clue is the colour of the audio jack)
