I don't think anyone would have thought that 13 years later Raspberry Pi would have grown into such an amazing ecosystem. Well done to everyone at Raspberry Pi, and particularly the founders, who not only created a fantastic device, but a fantastic community.
The every child in schools idea didn't really work out, was never really a starter anyway.
